The Ferrari SF90 Stradale houses a 90-degree V8 turbo engine that churns 769hp, which is the highest power output by any Ferrari 8-cylinder engine till date. Rest of the 217hp is generated by 3 electric motors – one located at the rear is the MGUK (Motor Generator Unit, Kinetic) inspired from Formula 1 and between the motor and the new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission on the rear axle, and 2 electric motors on the front axle. The sophistication is not as complex as it seems and it lets a fun driving experience with the option to select one of the four power unit modes. The sophisticated control logic manages the flow of power between the batteries, the electric motors, and the V8.
Plus, the SF90 Stradale is the first Ferrari sports car with 4WD option to allow the high power of the hybrid engine to be used to its full potential that claims 0-100km/h in 2.5 sec and 0-200km/h in 6.7 seconds.
